Lucas Turner

Teaching Artist/Party Helper

Lucas is ecstatic to be a part of the Sunshine Face Productions' family.

He received his BFA in Acting with a Minor in Musical Theatre from Montclair State University. He also has extensive vocal training with a former Broadway actress. He has taught performance skills and directed productions for youth groups throughout New Jersey since 1999.   

As a performer with 20+ years of experience, Lucas has worked throughout New Jersey at local and regional theatres such as Alliance Rep, Porch Light Productions, and George Street Playhouse. His performance as Garry in Noises Off! garnered him a Perry Award nomination in 2011 for Outstanding Supporting Actor In A Play. 

He originated the roles of Skate in “Wasted” (George Street Playhouse’s educational tour), MAN in “Coming of Age” (by Jon Provan; premier workshop performance), and helped originate the role of Stu in “Fabulous Darshan” (by Bob Stewart; NYC Workshop Theatre reading).

Most recently, Lucas became a proud performer for the seasonal caroling group "The Yuletide Carolers". Besides having extensive training and experience in theater, Lucas also has 4 years experience of on-camera experience, being cast in indie films, music videos, and commercials.

In addition, Lucas is well versed in the business marketing end of being a performer, having worked with numerous career and life coaches and compiling those lessons into a network of knowledge. Lucas is fully background checked.
